How does the Recently Updated list work?
Site admin maintains a list of blog feeds for the Recently Updated list. Our system automatically checks each feed about once every four hours to see if a new entry has been posted. If it has, that blog moves to the top of the list.
It’s possible that a blog may have a very recent entry but not appear at the top of the list; this will change in a few hours, once our system checks their feed. This is not an up-to-the-minute service like one of the big ping servers; think of it like a general guideline.
Blog owners, if you are consistently not seeing your blog on the list, contact us. We’ll make sure your blog is in the Recently Updated database so that it will be checked by the system. More details on how to add your blog are available here.
