As a baby boomer finally able to pursue my dream of raising Arabian horses, I dove into the adventure head first getting my first mare when I was 40. Now I’m going to be 60 and I have 26 head including a rare set of twin foals. I’ve had people begging me for years to write about my experiences. I’ve found blogging is a great way to accomplish it. I breed, raise and train my own horses. I’ve attended clinics with many of the best known clinicians in the country, both Natural Horsemanship and Breed specialists. My favorite still are two cowboys, Harvey Jacobs and Cody Hurford. I’ve already featured a series on Harvey and one’s coming with Cody soon. I’ll be writing about all kinds of things from ethics to rare diseases and lots of fun stuff in between.
