About Horse Bloggers
Horse Bloggers is run by a blogger, for readers and writers of horse-related blogs.
It started in late 2006/early 2007, when I was talking with other bloggers about the growing but dispersed community of horse bloggers. As a result of those conversations, I started a manual directory of horse-related blogs. Not long after, I changed the site over to a content management system so people could sign up and add their own blogs.
Although life sometimes gets in the way (this site is a hobby, not a career), I’m committed to continued development and additional features. I would like this to grow into something that not only helps readers and writers find each other, but also offers a sense of community—a place to check in, keep tabs on what’s going on, share news, and whatever else we can think of. Have ideas for new features? Contact me.
The ads on the site are intended to assist in the offsetting operating costs (the software licensing fees, the hosting fees, etc.). If they ever generate a profit, I’ll donate 50% to a horse-related charity voted on by site members.
Blog on, everyone.
